We Make Music Schools
We Make Music Schools is a scheme that recognises and celebrates the rich variety of music-making activity taking place in primary and ASN schools across Scotland.
Schools are able to get accreditation as a We Make Music School, in a similar way to Eco Schools or Reading Schools.
Awards are given in a number of ways – through participation, excellence, and community engagement. Different levels – Gold, Silver, Bronze, allow for progression as schools develop their programmes.
We Make Music Digital Awards
The We Make Music Digital Awards are a nationally recognised award for young people in Scotland, supported by the Sonappa resources and free CPDL opportunities for teachers. All participating children receive a We Make Music certificate, and schools receive a We Make Music Schools plaque.
