Symphony of a Thousand
Christmas Symphony of a Thousand was a mass online sing and play along to All I Want for Christmas by Mariah Carey. Hundreds of people across sent in audio and video recordings and hundreds more gathered together online to form a giant online band for Christmas 2020.
The project was put together by MEPG, Tinderbox Collective and RCS Junior Conservatoire in support of music education in Scotland.
Doorstep Jingle Bells
We also invited everyone to join us in welcoming Santa on Christmas Eve by playing Jingle Bells on their doorsteps. This was our way of saying a huge thank you to our key workers.
Musical Christmas Cards
MEPG also shared a series of musical Christmas cards to countdown the days until Christmas, posting videos of special festive performances to social media.
