Managed by West Lothian Council and funded by Creative Scotland, the Youth Music Initiative (YMI) provides free music opportunities for young people from early years through secondary. For over 20 years, the program has supported the Scottish Government’s goal of giving every primary pupil a year of free music tuition. YMI offers a diverse range of projects—from singing and DJing to drumming and instrument lessons—designed to suit all ages and abilities.
